Color Challenge PPA11
Yay! My first Paper Pal Arts challenge! I love color challenges! Today's colors are:
I thought it looked very Halloweenish so I pulled out one of my all-time favorite retired sets "Booglie Eyes" I'm trying to use up all my favorite retired DSP (so I can buy NEW stuff!) and I loved the look of it for this combo!

Teal Monkey
I made this card for a card layout challenge on SCS but ended up adding an extra strip of DSP so instead I went with a color combo challenge (taken with teal, very vanilla and close to cocoa) and a Clean and Simple challenge for masculine cards. (It's masculine right?)
The card base is Taken with teal, strips of retired DSP, and the cute monkey from the "You're Neat" retired set is on Very Vanilla. I used a blender pen and the stampin spots to color the image. The kite is actually a Craft ink pad and I LOVE the vividness of it! Close to those wonderful markers I want. :)
The finishing touches were punching the vanilla with the scallop edge punch and adding 3 brads. It just needed a little something. Again, not the best card, but I'm learning!

I'm ALL about the cheap storage!
Thanks to Mary Fish at http://www.stampingpretty.com/ I've decided I NEED these! http://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/?query=bygel+rails How convenient!
While we're on the subject of Ikea I think I'll also pick up some of these:
Oh the things I could buy at Ikea...

Wishlist
A couple products I'm dying to get are the Zutter Bind-it-all to make my own notebooks (especially with paper on sale for back to school!) So exciting that the SU! spiral punch fits so you can add pages once the notebook is bound. And a Cricut Expression. Vinyl, cutouts whatever that can be 12x24? FABULOUS!
